Comment: Your quoting Mark Hyman inspires me to wonder if he goes beyond saying that kids need to be developed athletically more gradually, to the point of recalling that a few decades ago they learned to scheme, run, dart, and dodge while playing "Capture the Flag" and "Red Rover" on the playground--no Little League or its equivalents. But even then creeping professionalism was no doubt taking root in the hearts of some frustrated parents.
