Nolan May Already Be Gone

ESPN is reporting Mike Nolan gets fired win or lose next Sunday. If he gets fired after a win, no one can argue with that. Everyone must feel Nolan got a fair shot and the organizatin must move on. Personally, I would keep him if he beats the Seahawks, but I don't insist. I can understand John York wanting to clear out Nolan and his losing ways.

ESPN says Mike Singletary will be the interim. Sure, give him a chance. Just don't let Mike Martz be the interim. No way. Never.

Comment: Ya.........Im not sure Singletary is appropriate, but we'll see how it plays out. I think Martz as the interim would have been a better choice or maybe even long term. He doubles as a coordinator and a head coach. That would definitely solve the problem of the high turnover of coordinators in recent years.

Comment: Fire Nolan now.I'm not sure Singletary is the answer though.I say give Martz two weeks to turn it around then go with Singletary.

Comment: I agree with philly49er. If its going to happen do it now...I'm not sure why they didn't do it last week...they needed a bad performance against the Giants to put them over the top? Please...I also agree with Lowell (and that bugs me a little)...No way to Martz..

Comment: I dont understand what we are doing here. If Nolan will be gone after the Bye win lose or draw fire him now and give the new guy that extra week to get himself in more comfortable with team...When we fire Nolan and bench Just Turn Overs then i can resume watching the Niners untill then ill have to rely on you guys
